Workspaces vs. offices – the wave of the future?

The website Business IT recently forecasted what offices may look like in the future, and one trend it cites is the idea of a “workspace” instead of an “office.” This means that that balance of working with mobility is gaining ground, but the article cautions that a shared sense of camaraderie and sense of obligation still needs to takes place. That is why you see more about concepts like flexible work environments and the Hot Desking movement (as in, sharing a desk with co-workers at different times) as interesting middle grounds.
